Wedding

Bryan and Marie's wedding went off ok. Marie had made her wedding dress,[red velvet] also her bridesmaid's and Bryans outfit.Reception was in the court inn,very nice.

Bryan,my grandson,is getting married on 22nd.Nov.He has asked me to be his best man.A lovely touch is he has chosen my birthday to tie the knot.

Google earth

Bryan was able to install Google earth for me.Having great fun playing about with it.

I have tried to imput google earth onto my computer,to no avail,I will have to wait untill my daughter nexts visits,as my efforts only resulted in the basic form of google earth.

The indoor season is well underway,I am enjoying it,outdoors was a very poor season weather wise.

Art exhibition in community centre Ebchester 28th.Called in to view,it gave me encouragement as I believe I have one or two that would have held their own.Eric from America called in to see his aunt Bessie Thurs, and Sat.Now that the darker nights are here,Alan and Enid intend to go straight home on thursdays instead of coming here for tea and chat;not that I blame them.it is no fun driving in the dark.

Goole earth.this was anew thing for me,I was absolutely amazed at what it could do.To think I could see the street where I live, and the actual house,Words just fail me.

Wedding

Bryan,[my grandson]rang yesterday to say he and Marie are to marry on 22nd November.I wish them all the very best for a long and happy life together.They have chosen my 91st birthday to tie the knot.A nice gesture,thanks.

My daughter Marian called yesterday brining a michraphone which she set up on the computer so we could talk to each other when we were both on line. What fun. I have joined the modern age. If anyone had told me these things were possible when I was a boy,I would have thought they were crazy.

Weather

Today 1st October has been a really lovely day,sunshine from early morning,called to see Bessie, and we sat outside until tea time.She still cannot understand what all the women are doing in [her] house. I am doodling on computer,having fun.
