House Update

Housing association came today tomake a start on updating bungalow. They renewed back and front doors and all windows. Workmen very good ,they will return in two weeks or so to alter kitchen and bathroom.I have quite a lot to do in readiness.

Grass

At last the council have been to cut the grass,it is the first time since October, It was knee high,so the men had to use a strimmer then a commercial cutter. they made a canny job of it,even bagging the cut grass.They promised to return once a month. Saturday,Monday,andTuesday,I was bowling,Bitter cold,and today it rained/

Such a while since I added anything to my blog. Glad to say Marian is well on the way to recover from her nasty bout of ashma. The outdoor bowling season has started,and as usual the weather has been misbehaving,cold and wet,although we did have one good day.Bryan had a nasty dose of flu?but it cleared up enough for him to get to the Goth weekend at Whitby.Marian put Patch in kennels for three days as a tryout.Has also joined a training course for him,she of course isn't taking part,just Patch.

Marian

Just when I thought Marian had got over her asthma attack it struck again. Monday morning I got word from the surgary that Marian was being taken into Bishop Aukland hospital and would I get Patch.I dashed straight over to Greenways to get him, and when I rang the hospital to ask about Marian she was already being transferred to Durham.Glad to say she had a good night,and was feeling a lot easier tonight.They intend keeping her in a few days.

I have been so busy lately that I have neglected my blog. My daughter Marian had a very bad asthma attack,I had Patch over for a week whilst she got over it. Patch and I had a grand time, plenty of walks, and games to play in the house.Luckily the weather was good all week.

Ecards

Discovered a new addition to include in emails,called ecards,quite a novelty,and such variety.

Rosemount

An old friend had her 98th.birthday on 24th.Jan.Her son, daughter- in- law,and I had tea with her and the other ladies of Rosemount.Such a lovely retirement home.

Christmas

I have been so busy over the Xmas period that I have neglected my blog. My daughter bought me a digital photo phrame, and I have spent hours insalling photos and playing them at different speeds. Good fun.
